descrever as atividades realizadas no decurso do mesmo, estuda a integração social, cultural e
Every year, Portuguese universities and polytechnics receive countless international students. Therefore, Portugal has an increasingly heterogeneous student population from ethnic, cultural and linguistic diversity. Thus, the current cooperation agreements between Portugal and the Portuguese-Speaking Countries (PALOP) are extremely important, as they facilitate the access to higher education (HE) to citizens of these countries. In the context of the aforementioned agreements, we conclude that it is imperative to continue creating strategies and assistance mechanisms to facilitate the adaptation of foreign students in Portugal, particularly students from PALOP countries. Starting from the completion of an internship in the non-governmental organization for development (NGDO) Ser Mais Valia (SMV), this report, in addition to describing the activities carried out during the course of this internship, studies the social, cultural and academic integration of PALOP students in the Portuguese HE and relates this theme with the inclusive education approach proposed in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
