A educação como chave para o desenvolvimento : o caso da FEC na Guiné-Bissau

Resumo(s)
O acesso à educação é essencial para melhorar a qualidade de vida dos
indivíduos e tem um papel importante como condutor do desenvolvimento e
alcance dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) da Agenda 2030.
De forma a contribuir para o acesso à educação de qualidade, a cooperação
portuguesa tem desenvolvido diversos projetos neste setor social, dirigidos
principalmente aos Países Africanos de Língua Oficial Portuguesa (PALOP).
O presente Trabalho Final de Mestrado (TFM), sob a forma de relatório de
estágio, pretende fazer uma caraterização da FEC-Fundação Fé e Cooperação,
e descrever as principais aprendizagens e atividades realizadas no decorrer do
estágio, que permitiram o contacto com a realidade da cooperação para o
desenvolvimento, particularmente no setor da educação.
O relatório faz um enquadramento teórico da importância da educação e do ODS
4 “Educação de qualidade”. Analisa a realidade da Guiné-Bissau no setor da
educação, destacando os principais desafios e a importância da cooperação
para o desenvolvimento, considerando o papel da FEC.
Access to education is essential to improve the quality of life of individuals and plays an important role in the development and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. To contribute to access to quality education, Portuguese cooperation has developed several projects in this social sector, aimed mainly at the African Countries of Portuguese Official Language (PALOP). The present Master's Final Work (TFM), in the form of an internship report, aims to characterize the FEC-Fundação Fé e Cooperação and describe the main learnings and activities carried out during the internship, which allowed contact with the reality of the development cooperation, particularly in the education sector. The report provides a theoretical framework of the importance of education and SDG 4 “Quality education”. It analyzes the reality of Guinea-Bissau in the education sector, highlighting the main challenges and the importance of cooperation for development, considering the role of the FEC.
