Título: Alternativas de condução para a Região dos Vinhos Verdes e suas implicações no rendimento e qualidade

Resumo: In a private vineyard, located at Vinhos Verdes Region, (Quinta de Lourosa) was installed a experiment field, we compare three training systems, on the agronomic and ecophysiological response of grapevine, `Loureiro´ variety, was assessed, during the 2011 vegetative cycle. The parameters studied in the training system were plant´s architecture (Lys, R5C and R5C2). The Lys training system is essentially characterized by presenting two different levels of production and sufficiently separated from each other by a free space. The system is characterized as a three-dimensional system that is composed of an area up and only two areas exclusively descendents. The system is structurally R5C shoulders with a cordon, resulting in two descendents hedges and discontinuous, the R5C2 emerges as an adaptation and presents two ridges parallel to each other, each of the strands has shoulders just to one side (opposite each other). The system R5C presented the highest number of broken shoots, counting 74 shoots in total test, the R5C2 seems to have set aside this limiting factor, counted as 15 broken shoots, and 7 in the case of Lys. Physiologically there were no significant differences between the three training systems. The values of photosynthetic rate measured at harvest, were higher in the three training system. The results just confirm the adaptability of three training systems to the region of Vinho Verde. Regarding the evolution of the index leaf, there was a normal decrease, since the soil water reserves to go out. At harvest, recorded values were beneficial for the proper development of the quality of the grapes, as it leads to a decrease in plant growth, favoring the accumulation of sugars and phenolic compounds from berries. In terms of NCF there were no significant differences in the three systems. With the system Lys we obtained a yield of 34.9 t/ha with an alcohol content of 9.0% v/v. The system R5C produced 34.9 t / ha with 11.7% v/v while the R5C2 produced 45.1 t/ha with 9.3% v/v. The Ravaz´s Index is on all systems very high, due mainly to high production.
